With only two months since 2015 started, Companhia de Dança Yaguara has already started preparations for the month of June. One of the group’s projects, Quadrilha Explode Coração, is already working towards the 11th Municipal Quadrilha Championship, the victory in the State Competition and, consequently, in the 2015 National Jungle Competition, held in June and considered a showcase in modality.
“Explode Coração” is one of the most expressive gangs in Pará and made news this month on the www.quadrilha.com Portal. She has been rehearsing for some time and, according to the director and choreographer Cláudio Roberto, has been preparing hard. “We already have a theme ready for this year, but this will be released on the next day 28/02”, he said.
According to Cláudio Roberto, being able to participate in the competitions is a joy, especially this year that the plans are different from previous years. “In 2015 we will focus on training and improving the performance of the Yaguara dancers. Our intention is also to offer this to other dance groups in the city. We are also focused on festivals such as Eva Chaves and Nacional de Quadrilha Juninas ”, he said.
Yaguara receives support from SINOBRAS to develop its projects, including the construction of its own headquarters, participation in festivals, assembly of shows, among other activities.
