The executive Ian Corrêa, vice president of SINOBRAS, was present at the launch event of the 4th Mineral Yearbook of Pará 2015, held this month in Belém, with the presence of authorities, businessmen and suppliers in the mineral sector. With a focus on sustainability and social responsibility, the publication’s theme is “Mining with social responsibility. Life is our greatest wealth ”. SINOBRAS is one of the sponsors of the publication produced by the Union of Mineral Industries of the State of Pará (SIMINERAL).
In a bilingual version (Portuguese / English), the Yearbook makes a complete radiography of mining in Pará, presenting the public with the performance of the mineral sector in the trade balance, export balance, job creation, social responsibility projects, sustainability actions and future projects in the region and women’s participation in mining. The yearbook has a circulation of 5,000 printed copies. During the launch, the 4th Mining Writing Contest and the 3rd Hamilton Pinheiro Journalism Award were also launched.
