The SINOBRAS Field Soccer team won the second championship at the SESI 2014 State Games with a score of 4 x 1 over the Vale Parauapebas team. The games took place in Belém from November 21st to 23rd at the SESI Ananindeua and Almirante Barroso units, with the participation of more than 20 companies from the State and mobilized 374 workers / athletes to compete in the sports modalities: Futsal, Futebol de Campo, Master Society Football, Table Tennis, Beach Volleyball and Chess.
Two years ago the team had won the first championship and this year’s campaign was pursued since the municipal stage, held in Marabá. For the president of the Association of Employees of SINOBRAS – ACSI, Elzio Alves, the victory is only possible because the managers value the sport and released the employees for participation.
“The SINOBRAS team won the state championship title with a ball show. My congratulations to all these workers who honored the name of SINOBRAS, which in addition to manufacturing steel, also forms champions, ”he celebrated. The company’s Futsal team also participated in this stage of the games and took third place.
The Social Service of Industry – SESI Pará encourages and raises the awareness of industry workers and family members to adopt an increasingly healthy lifestyle through the practice of sports and other activities developed by the institution. In its 8th edition, the SESI State Games reinforced the incentive to seek health and quality of life.
As the largest sporting and class event held by SESI, its main objective is to promote sport with a socio-educational character based on participation, training and performance for human enhancement for social promotion and improvement of the quality of life of industry workers.
