SINOBRAS is one of the supporters of the Primer on Awareness and Environmental Education launched last week in Belém, which aims to strengthen environmental education, through concepts that value the preservation of the environment. The initiative came from the State Secretariat for the Environment (Sema), in partnership with the Instituto Brasil Sustentável (IBS) and other partner companies. SINOBRAS ‘Sustainability Manager, Ricardo Pugliese, was present at the launch held in the auditorium of the Pará Government School (EGPA).
On the occasion, the SINOBRAS representative received the certificate for the partnership in the Environmental Awareness and Education Action. José Alberto Colares, Secretary of Environment of Pará, highlighted the importance of this environmental action by Sema. “This initiative is very important, as it brings us the right to sustainability, thus making it part of a culture that is not only governmental, but corporate,” he said.
The booklets will be distributed to the Municipal Environment Departments and to the population.
