A delegation from the State Secretariat of Industry, Commerce and Mining – Seicom, was in Marabá last week and on the occasion visited the SINOBRAS facilities to get to know the SINOBRAS Phase 2 project, which will include, in addition to expanding the plant’s production capacity , with the installation of the new laminator; the installation of a scrap shredder, a new 230 Kv power substation and the extension of the rolling / drawing line.
Thereafter, the company will have a nominal capacity of 800,000 t / year. Led by Secretary Maria Amélia Enríquez, the group also counted on the presence of the Marabá Municipal Secretary for Industry and Commerce, Marcelo Almeida Araújo and the Marabá Municipal Secretary for Farm Management, Ricardo Almeida Rosa, among other representatives of municipal secretariats.
This was the second time that the Seicom holder was at SINOBRAS. My impressions about this company are the best possible and I wish you a lot of success and she, who knows how to count on us. I was impressed with the growth and not only with the quantitative growth, but with the development and the company’s involvement with society ”, said the Secretary.
The delegation was received by the Siderúrgica’s Sustainability Manager, Ricardo Pugliese, who accompanied them since their arrival. For Ricardo, “this type of interaction with government institutions, in addition to an opportunity to show what the company is doing is a way of strengthening and strengthening ties with public authorities,” he said.
After the visit, the Secretary received representatives from the public management of municipalities surrounding Marabá at the headquarters of SENAI Marabá. There he gave the lecture “Scenarios of Mining in the State of Pará”.
