The award for the fourth edition of the Educational Project took place yesterday afternoon, the 20th, in the auditorium of the Administrative Building of SINOBRAS. The event was marked by emotion between the project participants and their parents. The winners were announced by the Corporate Human Resources Manager, Regina Timbó, the Executive Industrial Manager at SINOBRAS, Gerson Rusky, and the managers and leaders of the collaborators who enrolled their children.
Willian Viana de Sousa, 7 years old, was the first placed in the category 1 to 5th year of public school. Shy and still not believing he was the winner of his category, he just declared: “I really enjoyed it!”. His father, Claudino Matos de Sousa, collaborator with the Elector of Aciaria, was hardly happy. “It is very gratifying and I am proud to see his effort being rewarded, and even more so, for knowing that we are giving him the best gift, which is education,” he said.
An example of overcoming was Eduardo Meneleu Araújo Sá, son of the collaborator Adelman Meneleu Souza Sá, from Logística, who after winning in the 2012 edition and obtaining the 3rd place in 2013, promised that in 2014 he would be the winner. Promise made and kept. Eduardo was the winner in the category 1 to 5th year of private school. Dandara Rodrigues da Silva, daughter of Manoel Wagner Rodrigues, from Alto Forno, was placed first in the 6th to 9th grade of public school, while Ana Beatriz Freitas Santos, daughter of Logistics collaborator Mirele Freitas, without competitors, won in the category 6th to 9th year of private school.
“What we can offer our children the best is education. Congratulations to the parents who provided their children with the opportunity to participate in this project! ”, Regina Timbó said during the event.
The Project, which aims to encourage greater participation by employees in the school life of their children, has already awarded more than 50 elementary school students from public and private schools in Marabá. Many new features are planned for the next edition. Stay tuned!
