Marabaense artist Líria Pimentel opened her first exhibition to the public on Thursday, 10/16, entitled “Fruto”. The photographic exhibition, which takes place at the Association of Visual Artists of Marabá – Arma, is part of an experimental project by the artist that uses photographs in large dimensions to reveal, through a contemporary and innovative language, the interior of fruits and vegetables that are discarded by the merchants of open markets.
The purpose is to present to the viewer what is not perceived by the rushed look of everyday life. The exhibition, which will be open to the public until December 12, has the support of SINOBRAS, through resources from Instituto Aço Cearense, through the project Minha Comunidade é Mais. The plastic artist, who graduated in Accounting Sciences, but did not follow the profession comments: “I look at each one of them and I only see purity. Some people try to interpret what I meant, but I just want to show the fruits, the colors and the texture. I take this opportunity to thank SINOBRAS for the support of the exhibition ”.
