Yaguara Dance Company will bring 24 dancers to the event
Whoever is in the festival audience next Saturday, July 26, will see the choreography “Isso é carimbó”. The choreography Marajoara, a pout-pourri of the folk dances cowboy, lundu and Chula Marajoara will also be presented on the open stage. Sponsored by SINOBRAS, the Yaguara Dance Company will bring 24 dancers to the event. According to Cláudio Roberto, director and choreographer of the company, the rush for the last preparations is great, as the last details are still being closed.
Cláudio also said that for the group to go to Joinville, some difficulties appeared, but that all were overcome. “We are anxious and confident. The choreography chosen for the competitive show is very strong and rehearsed daily, with about 20 hours of weekly rehearsals. On Thursday the dancers will board and Saturday we will take the stage. We will do everything in six minutes, which took six months, from planning, testing and fundraising. It is gratifying, although it is always laborious. I thank SINOBRAS for always believing in our work and giving Yaguara, in addition to financial support, our first oxygen ”, said Cláudio.
