Last Wednesday (3), SINOBRAS received from the Government of the State of Pará the “Culture Pará Seal – Empresa Amiga da Cultura”, a recognition to companies that contribute to the strengthening of the economy, culture and art, through the Semear Law. The seal was delivered by the Governor of Pará, Helder Barbalho, through an online ceremony, respecting the guidelines of the State Government on the health protocol to combat Covid-19.

SINOBRAS was one of the 11 companies that sponsored projects in 2020. On that occasion, the Semear 2021 Law was launched and two other important cultural and social inclusion projects: Edital Arte Livre and Projeto Sons de Liberdade. The actions mobilize the departments of State of Culture (Secult), Penitentiary Administration (Seap), Finance (Sefa) and Economic Development, Mining and Energy (Sedeme), Fundação Cultural do Pará (FCP), Fundação Carlos Gomes (FCG) and private companies whose purpose is the socio-economic and cultural development of the region, such as SINOBRAS.

For Ian Corrêa, vice president of operations at Grupo Aço Cearense, this award is an important recognition of all the work of SINOBRAS in building a more prosperous future. “Being recognized as a culture-friendly company gives us courage in this very delicate moment in which we experience so many difficulties. We know that culture was one of the areas most affected by the pandemic and how much it can transform many lives. For SINOBRAS, this recognition is a sample that our effort is being committed in the right way, as an incentive for art and culture in our state ”, he says.
