The vice president of SINOBRAS, Ian Corrêa received, last Wednesday, 02.07, the Installation License (LI) of SINOBRAS Phase II, expansion project of SINOBRAS that provides a rolling mill with a capacity of 500 thousand tons / year. The document was delivered by the Governor of Pará, Simão Jatene.
Project will start in March 2016
With the start of operations scheduled for March 2016, the project includes, in addition to the installation of the new laminator, the installation of a scrap shredder, a new 230 kV power substation and the extension of the rolling mill production line. / wire drawing. Thereafter, the company will have a nominal capacity of 800,000 t / year.
The LI is a document that authorizes the beginning of the installation of the enterprise or activity, according to the specifications contained in the approved executive plans, programs and projects, including the environmental control measures and other conditions, of which they are a determining reason.

According to Governor Simão Jatene, “this is a time to celebrate the initiative of companies like SINOBRAS that expand their investments in Pará”.
