SINOBRAS ranked 539 among the 1,500 largest Brazilian companies based on net revenue earned in 2017, according to the Estadão ranking.
SINOBRAS was featured in the magazine, appearing in the 698th position among the 1000 largest companies by net sales in 2017.
SINOBRAS received a recognition and thank you card for the partnership with REDES (Innovation and Economic Sustainability), an initiative of the FIEPA (Industry Federation of the State of Pará) System. The company was recognized as an industry that promotes economic sustainability in the state of Pará.
Highlighting in the relationship with REDES / FIEPA in 2017, Eloá Betini, Buyer of Supply Materials at SINOBRAS, was the winner of the Buyer of the Year category of the 6th REDES Development Award. This was the second consecutive time that the collaborator was awarded. The award recognizes the companies and professionals who invested the most in purchasing volumes in the state of Pará in the year 2017.
SINOBRAS was featured in the magazine, ranking among the largest companies in the North and Northeast in the 86th place in the regional ranking related to the year 2016. It also appeared among the 1000 Biggest Sales – National, in position 691ª.
SINOBRAS was once again among the largest companies in the country. The ranking of IstoÉ Dinheiro magazine, released in September 2017, brought SINOBRAS in position 433rd among the country’s 1000 largest companies by net revenue in 2016.
SINOBRAS achieved a triple award in the event held in March in the city of Belém. In the ranking of the 15 Best Companies to work in Pará, it won the 3rd place; received the trophy Gente de RH, which honored executive Milton Lima, as the executive who most values the management of people in companies; and was awarded the Inovare Award, granted to the company that implemented the most innovative project in the area of HR, the project of Inclusion of People with Disabilities in Industrial Operation.
SINOBRAS, a company of the Group, was a champion of the Líderes do Norte Award, held by the Parana Business and Highlight Group (NED) in June 2016. The company ranked first in the construction material segment.
SINOBRAS was featured in the magazine, ranking among the largest companies in the North and Northeast in the 76th position in the regional ranking related to the year 2015. It also appeared among the 100 largest investments in position 94ª, with the Lamination Project Phase 2, which increase the production capacity to 800 thousand tons of steel annually in Marabá; and stood out in the ranking of the 1000 companies with the highest net sales last year, winning the 617th place, with R $ 939.7 million in sales. Grupo Aço Cearense, of which SINOBRAS is a part, also appeared in the list of the 1000 largest groups in the country, winning position 179ª.
Grupo Aço Cearense was once again one of the largest companies in the country. The Group composed the list of Valor 1000, published by the newspaper Valor Econômico annually, occupying the 254th position in the country and the 14th in the Northeast among the largest Groups of 2015.
In the ranking published in July 2015 by Exame magazine, Grupo Aço Cearense ranked 182nd among the largest groups in the country and SINOBRAS (one of its companies) ranked 80th among the largest companies in the North and Northeast regions.
Grupo Aço Cearense ranked 240th among the country’s 1,000 largest groups, being the 15th largest in the Northeast and the 2nd in the region in the metallurgy and mining sector, according to the annual publication Valor 1000 that circulated in August 2015.
In March 2015, SINOBRAS, a GAC company, received the “Pleasure in Work” award sponsored by Gestor Consultoria, in partnership with Jornal Diário do Pará, which recognizes Pará companies with Best People Management Practices. The company also received the Inovare Award, which recognized the Educational Project, developed by the HR area, and which rewards the children of the most successful employees in the school year.
The Director of Organizational Development and Information Technology (IT) of the Aço Cearense Group, Cinthia Cavalcanti, was on the list of executives of IT Leaders, which brings together CIOs (as managers, superintendents, directors or vice presidents of IT are known) of the main Brazilian companies that stood out throughout the year for their creativity and resilience in the IT industry. The Ceará group, represented by its IT director, occupies the 67th place in the ranking.
The Aço Cearense Group was included in the ranking of the five companies with the Best Social Performance above R $ 90 million, ranking fourth. The Delmiro Gouveia award recognizes the largest and best companies in Ceará, evaluated by technical criteria applied in the financial statements. It is a certificate of quality in market management.
SINOBRAS was considered as the second best company to work for in the state of Pará. This was the result of the survey “Prazer em Trabalhar 2014”, carried out by Gestor Consultoria and Diário do Pará Business Notebook, which evaluated management practices of people from 32 companies. SINOBRAS was also awarded the “Holos” award, granted to the steel company for having the best People Management tools in place.
In December 2014, GAC was awarded the 68th position of the 100 + IT Innovators of the Year award, promoted by the company IT Mídia. This was the 14th edition in which the good practices of companies in the STEEL, METALLURGY, MINING and MECHANICS category were evaluated and for the great contributions that contribute to the evolution of the IT sector.
The Aço Cearense Group was recognized with the Delmiro Gouveia Award, in the “Largest Companies” category in the State of Ceará, occupying the sixth place in the ranking. The award evaluates the financial statements of companies from Ceará that presented the best results in 2013.
In the ranking published in June by Exame magazine (2014), the company was in 178th position among the 200 largest private groups in the country, rising five positions in relation to last year’s ranking, when it had been in 185th.
Siderúrgica also received the “Hollos” award, for its prominence in the implementation of the best human resources tools, developed with its employees. The award, which took place in March 2014, is a recognition of SINOBRAS ‘constant investment in its employees, in addition to the improvement techniques that the company offers for people management
The Networks program, which promotes the development of suppliers in Pará, delivered in December 2013, the Networks 2012 Award, for the contribution of SINOBRAS in strengthening the industry in the State. The Company was third in the Absolutes category, due to its outstanding financial volume of business in Pará.
In November 2013, SINOBRAS received, for the third time, the ORM / ACP Award, granted by the Organizations Rômulo Maiorana and the Commercial Association of Pará (ACP) for companies that stood out in the state’s business and industrial environment in 2012.

The Aço Cearense Group appeared in the 2013 edition of Exames Melhores e Maiores magazine, published annually. The Group occupied 185th place in the ranking of the 200 largest Groups and was in 5th place among those that most grew in profitability.
SINOBRAS was highlighted in the survey “Valor 1000”, published by the newspaper Valor Econômico, in 2013. In the ranking by region, the company was in 41st place in the North and Midwest Regions and in the general ranking, it was in 637th.
The president of the Aço Cearense Group (GAC), Vilmar Ferreira, received the Sebastião de Arruda Gomes Medal in December 2013. The commendation was delivered by the Union of Metallurgical, Mechanical and Electrical Material Industries of the State of Ceará (Simec) to both industrial companies that stood out in the sector throughout the year.
SINOBRAS stood out in the ranking of the best and largest companies in Brazil, ranking 75th overall among the 100 largest companies in the North-Northeast regions, being the eighth largest company in net revenue and the 23rd largest in the North region. The special edition of Revista Exame (published by Editora Abril) was published in August 2013.
