One of the most important honors for the Ceará business community, the Edson Queiroz Medal bestows great entrepreneurs who stand out in the corporate scenario. In December 2018, at the Legislative Assembly of Ceará, the president of Grupo Aço Cearense, Vilmar Ferreira, was one of the honorees of the evening, along with businessmen Beto Studart and Rafael Ferreira Idelbergue Leal.
The Edson Queiroz Medal was established by Law No. 10695, of July 1982, creating the Ceará Entrepreneur’s Day. Vilmar Ferreira was proud to receive the honor. “There is no doubt that this legacy left by Chancellor Edson Queiroz is very important. It is a great pride for those who receive the medal, as it is an example that we leave for future generations of entrepreneurs. This gives a lot of energy, courage and enthusiasm to continue undertaking and collaborating for the economy of our state”, said the president of the Aço Cearense group.
