This month, the Aço Cearense Group reached the milestone of 1 million tons of steel acquired from Usiminas since 2015. To celebrate this expressive number and also the client’s day, the Group’s President, Vilmar Ferreira, was invited by the mining company to tell the story of this successful partnership in a video released to all Usiminas employees.
The company also delivered a trophy and a commemorative steel coil, as a symbolic form to represent the receipt of the millionth ton of steel supplied to Grupo Aço Cearense.
Usiminas supplies thin cold, thin hot and galvanized coils to Aço Cearense, which it uses as a raw material to produce various products such as pipe, profile, flat and articulated plate, coil, frame, panel and door rail.
