As a result of the article entitled “Siderúrgica chooses Tocantins to expand
your investments ”, published on January 20, 2021, on the site of the Secretariat of the
Industry, Commerce and Services of the State of Tocantins, and replicated in several
portals, we clarify that:

• At various times, the article attributes the company “MRX – Siderúrgica Norte
  Brasil ”, erroneously, data and information of Siderúrgica Norte
  Brasil S.A. – SINOBRAS.
• All published data on billing, products, logistics and
  service concerns only SINOBRAS, which does not have any
  liaison with MRX or any company in its Group.
• The installation of an industrial unit in the city of Barrolândia, mentioned in
  matter, is not the responsibility of Siderúrgica Norte Brasil S.A.- SINOBRAS.

The MRX company website, in fact, improperly contains information pertaining to
SINOBRAS and not the MRX Group, which has never been part of or has any connection with the
Grupo Steel Cearense, of which SINOBRAS is part.

SINOBRAS clarifies that it carefully evaluates and investigates the matter, and will adopt the measures
applicable laws in confirming practices of misappropriation of information
as appropriate.
