Grupo Aço Cearense, together with Companhia Siderúrgica do Pecém – CSP, hosted the Meeting of the Work Safety Committee of the Aço Brasil Institute. The schedule was held during the days 03, 04 and April 5 for managers of work safety of large Brazilian steel industries associated with Steel Brazil.
With the objective of sharing information, knowledge, good practices and procedures to contribute to the improvement of the occupational safety areas of the participating companies, the schedule of the Meeting included visits to the plants of the industries, study of safety management models and lecture with the theme “Climb your Everest safely” with Rosier Alexandre.
According to Paulo Novais of Aperam, the meeting is a great time to share good practices and learn from participating companies. ”
The most important thing for me is the sharing of experiences, because when we talk about security, we are not competitors but partners. The programming exceeded expectations, with well-debated issues and the willingness of each one to contribute “, explains Paulo.
The companies represented by the Committee are SINOBRAS (company of the Aço Cearense Group), Usiminas, Gerdau, Aperam, CSP, Ternium, ArcelorMittal Tubarão, Vallourec and Villares Metals.
