On the afternoon of last Friday (11), Grupo Aço Cearense held the II Seminar on Safety in Cargo Transport for logistics companies and students in the field. The action took place in the auditorium of the Federation of Industries of the State of Ceará (FIEC).
With the objective of bringing together large companies in the market to exchange information on best practices, with a focus on safety in cargo transportation, the program included lectures by Edgard Corrêa, director of supplies and logistics at Grupo Aço Cearense; the Logistics Manager of the Diageo Group, Marcos Minieri; the Cabos of the State Highway Police, Saulo Daniel and Afrânio Silva; and the Fiscal Auditor of the Ministry of Labor and Employment, Franklin Rabelo.
According to Edgard Corrêa, the seminar was proposed by Grupo Aço Cearense to exchange experiences and contribute to other companies in the state. “We saw an opportunity to be able to share our best practices with other companies that also participate in this segment in the market, in addition to learning a little from them,” he said.
