Solidarity that goes beyond the walls is one of the premises of SINOBRAS, a company belonging to the Aço Cearense Group. In this sense, one of the actions developed during the Internal Week for the Prevention of Work Accidents (Sipat), was the collection of two tons of non-perishable food that will be delivered to three philanthropic institutions that are supported by Instituto Aço Cearense.
Part of the donations will be delivered on December 19 at Lar São Vicente de Paulo, responsible for all the Group’s social, educational, sports and entrepreneurship actions. The institution cares for 28 elderly people in a situation of social vulnerability. On December 23, it will be the turn of two other entities to receive the donation: Instituto Cultural Hozana Lopes de Abreu, a non-profit institution focused on improving the lives of children, adolescents and young people, and the Foundation for Assistance to Children and Adolescent.
According to Ronaldo Castelo Branco, environmental technician at SINOBRAS and one of the participants at SIPAT said that this action goes beyond teamwork. “We focus a lot on the competition, because it is something to help other people. We did a great campaign on social networks and with our colleagues and family. There is a personal fulfillment in this donation, which is to be in solidarity with others, ”says Ronaldo.
