A fairer and less violent society. It was for this purpose that the Cearense Steel Institute promoted the 4th edition of the Pedalando for Peace cycling tour, on August 16, in the municipality of São Gonçalo do Amarante – CE.
The cyclists left at 7:30 am from São Gonçalo Mother Church Square and went to Prejubaca Lagoon, located on Coronel Doca Paraíba Avenue. The ride was accompanied by the Municipal Traffic Authority and the participants received water, gifts and participated in the draw of five bicycles. In addition, several sound cars cheered the whole way with a zumba and band presentation at the event’s concentration.
The purpose of the Pedalando for Peace, carried out in partnership with the municipality, was to draw the attention of society and the public power to a culture of nonviolence.
