In April, on the 27th and 28th, the second 2nd Stage of the Copa Brasil Paraciclismo was held in Brasília-DF. Gilberto Silva, from Ceará, an athlete sponsored by Instituto Aço Cearense, participated in the event and reached 2nd place in the endurance event.
Copa Brasil is one of the main events on the national calendar and counts points in the national and international ranking. Gilberto participates in the C5 category, with the master sponsorship of Instituto Aço Cearense, which has supported the athlete for nine years. “Reaching the second stage of the World Cup and achieving a good result and 3rd place in the general ranking makes me very happy, it’s the realization of many years of effort becoming a dream come true”, says the paracyclist.
