Exchanging experiences about sustainable development actions is a practice that society needs to experience more and more in order to learn to put into practice small and big ideas that contribute to the future of the planet. In this sense, Aço Cearense presented its success stories at the Communication Group O Povo, this April. Topics on corporate sustainability were discussed, with the participation of the companies Três Corações and Ayo.
Aço Cearense’s sustainability manager, Carlos Yves Cavalcante, presented the success stories of companies in Ceará, such as recycling projects, rainwater harvesting, Youth and Adult Education, reforestation and social actions with Instituto Aço Cearense. In addition, he addressed the production of the bioenergetic reducer itself carried out by SINOBRAS Florestal and the use of scrap in the production of steel by SINOBRAS, the Group’s companies located in Tocantins and Pará.
Carlos Yves believes they are on the right path. “Having sustainable actions is a concern of everyone who makes the Group, from the presidency to the operational. The idea is that everyone can practice these actions not only within the company, but also in their lives, helping to transform the world”, explained the manager.
