With posters, messages about violence against women, abusive relationships and a lecture on “What is feminism and what is its role in society”, Grupo Aço Cearense conducts a campaign in reference to International Women’s Day (8 de March), to celebrate the date in a different way, bringing knowledge and supporting such an important cause.
With an industrial audience made up of 85% male employees, the Group understands that it is essential to address respect for women and women’s causes. Thus, on March 7th, at 4 pm, the speaker Ana Karina Cavalcante, feminist and history teacher, will speak with the employees of Aço Cearense Comercial. On March 8, at 6:30 am and 2:00 pm, Aço Cearense Industrial will host the lecturer Raquel Vieira, a feminist and social worker, to talk about issues related to women. Both units are located in Fortaleza.
SINOBRAS and SINOBRAS Florestal, the group’s companies in the states of Pará and Tocantins, will also have similar events on March 8 for their employees, with speakers Tayanná Santos and Elizabeth Costa, respectively.
