The paracyclist Gilberto Silva, sponsored by the Instituto Aço Cearense, reached the third place in the Brazilian Championship of Paracycling, being among the best in the country in the C5 category. The event took place last weekend, November 24th and 25th, in São Carlos-SP.
Gilberto trained a lot throughout the year and participated in important competitions, such as the Brazilian Championship and the Pan American Championship. According to the athlete, this achievement was very important for his sports career. “It was a moment of overcoming difficulties, being among the top three in Brazil is an honor”, he says.
