On Monday (22) at Aço Cearense Comercial and today (24) at SINOBRAS, the launch of the new Basic Policy of Grupo Aço Cearense, presented by Vice-Presidents Aline Ferreira and Ian Corrêa. Cinthia Cavalcanti, Organizational Development and IT Director, conducted the event in the presence of directors, managers and coordinators from all the Group’s companies.
The change is part of the Strategic Planning that is being implemented in the company with the objective of promoting the alignment between managers and employees, defining objectives and goals for the coming years and creating an environment for effective and promising management that will ensure the resumption of growth and the sustainability of Grupo Aço Cearense.
The Basic Policy defines the organizational identity, where the Mission is the statement of the company’s responsibilities, it is carried out by the routine, management system, indicators and goals. The Vision is the description of the future desired by the company and the Values are the principles that guide the behavior, attitudes and decisions of everyone in the organization.
Diego Carvalho, Coordinator of SESMT at ACC and ACI, said excitedly: “It is with great satisfaction that we are introduced to the new GAC Basic Policy, which has the essence of collectivism. The message, in addition to being aggregating, reinforces that we can achieve even better results as long as we are united to do so. We know that the challenge continues, however, whenever we feel fragile or have doubts about how to proceed, we will remember the values that our company has and thus we will remain convinced that together we are stronger and we can go further.”
“I received the new GAC policy with great optimism. It is essential that the company has the DNA of its president and founder, that is, its principles. I hope that from now on our union will strengthen the group. We are one. We are Grupo Aço Cearense,” said Amanda Feijó, ACC’s Carbon II Sales Manager, enthusiastically.
“It was an objective and enlightening event. The change was strong and rewarding for us. We will be more and more united as a function of the Group and, for sure, we will meet the goal and be better going forward”, said Carlos Cândido, SINOBRAS Lamination Manager.
“I was happy and hopeful with the new proposal, as it will result in a greater engagement of companies with the objectives of Grupo Aço Cearense, especially in relation to SINOBRAS Florestal. We needed to feel more part of the Group and this policy reflected exactly that ‘the union’. As we disseminate the new policy, this feeling will be increasingly visible”, said Juliane Ellem Costa, Manager of SINOBRAS Florestal.
After the presentation of the new GAC Basic Policy, Cinthia presented the results of the 1st Strategic Planning Workshop and, in recognition of their work, awarded the top performers and managers. “This recognition is a way of showing our managers how important the project is and motivating them to achieve our goal with 100% effectiveness”, said the Director.
